SIGN UP - Deliver Petition to Governor Corbett - June 6
Over the past several weeks Education Voters has partnered with Penn Action to collect signatures for an online petition urging Gov. Corbett and members of the General Assembly NOT to move forward with the proposed $1 BILLION cuts to basic education. With your help, we’ve gathered over 34,000 signatures from across the state! Now, the next step is to deliver this petition to the Capitol to show our policymakers just how much opposition there is to these extreme cuts.
Join us on Monday June 6th to deliver this petition to the Governor’s office and state legislators. We’ll meet in the Capitol Rotunda around 11:45am to gather ourselves before heading upstairs to the Governor’s office at high noon.
