Education Voters PA to host Governor Edward G. Rendell and Congressman Chaka Fattah

Join Education Voters of Pennsylvania with special guests Governor Edward G. Rendell and Congressman Chaka Fattah as we celebrate the successes of 2009 and look ahead to 2010.

When: Friday, January 22, 2010, 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Where: Berger & Montague, P.C., 1622 Locust Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103

In 2009, Pennsylvania was the only state in the nation to increase funding for basic education and we saw an increase in student achievement!  2010 is going to be just as important a year for education issues.  On the horizon: 2010 budget, state and federal elections and local, state and federal policy issues.  Education Voters of Pennsylvania is in a key position to move this critical agenda, to build awareness, organize, to increase public will and public demand and to build power in order to win key policy and electoral fights.
